Kernowfornia Festival cares deeply about our communities and our Cornish heritage and that is why we are very proud to pledge our support to the following charities;

Livewire Music Project
The charity in saltash that’s all about using contemporary music to unlock creativity and support young people on their journey through adolescence and into adulthood.
The young people who attend Livewire are there because they have a passion for making music and have discovered that Livewire will enable their musical ambitions and dreams through the provision of a staggering range of FREE LESSONS and hands-on experiences. Additionally, many come through livewire's doors to make new friends who share their enthusiasm for this most personally expressive of art forms.
Livewire is also able to help a few young people who have challenges, to conquer them, regardless of what they’re facing in the outside world. they are adept at enabling them to reach their potential with and without music and have thirty years experience of doing this. The RNLI
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Powered primarily by kind donations, their search and rescue service have been saving lives for 200 years.
They are a charity founded upon and driven by values of selflessness, courage, dependability and trustworthiness, with volunteers at the heart. Values shared by generations of supporters who have powered their lifesaving work through kindness and generosity for 200 years.
The vast majority of RNLI people are volunteers - ordinary people doing extraordinary things - supported by expert staff, all working together to help communities at home and abroad save lives.
Surfers Against Sewage
Over the last 30 years Surfers Against Sewage has grown into one of the UK’s most successful marine conservation and campaigning charities. And they are still growing.
For people to thrive and live life to the fullest, the ocean must thrive too. And so we need to confront all that threatens it. Surfers Against Sewage are a campaigning charity made up of water lovers who protect the ocean and all it makes possible. They take action on the ground that triggers change at the top. Action from the beachfront, to the front-bench.
